Good Grief

Our group members are women of LCPC as well as other widows wanting support, positivity and purpose.  We meet the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month for a lunch.  Each person brings a dish to share.  We generally meet at the church after the service or at Ann Swift’s home.  We discuss pertinent issues usually spurred on from our devotional  message.  Lately we have also been studying Biblical passages searching for what Heaven is like.  Practical info is exchanged regarding reliable home repairers, etc.  Prayer requests are shared and our whole get-together lasts approximately 2 hours.  As an outreach we each contribute comfort items for a gift bag given to new widows with whom we have a connection.  Call for more information, Childcare is not provided.
