Text Box: Your church library is now open and ready for your business! The library committee diligently worked throughout the summer to revamp and revitalize the library to bring it up to date. Some user-friendly changes: -Relocated to the “old office room” -Books categorized, color coded and catalogued according to title & author for easy selection -Topics include Teens, Children, Personal & Family growth, Missions & Biographies; Biblical & Theological helps as well as reading for pleasure -A “Freely Give – Freely Take” bookshelf for pleasure reading books not catalogued has been set up. This bookcase has books to be taken, read, returned with a request for comments by the reader re whether you liked the book (or not) and if you would recom- mend it as part of the permanent library collection. Post it notes will be inside the book cover for this purpose. -Children’s videos has a sign out sheet -A magazine rack and current magazines added Under approval of the Christian Ed Committee, the library committee will be purchasing new materials for our permanent collection. The library committee is now ready to receive donated books/DVD’s/Videos. Please indicate who donated so the committee can determine if you desire your materials back if they do not become part of the permanent collection. Once a year, the committee will determine what will be catalogued or not. Please drop in and enjoy. Instructions for checking out books can be found on the card catalogue. Text Box: As the new Sunday School quarter begins we are looking for people who will regularly pray for our Sunday School teachers. Each prayer partner will be paired with one teacher. We will provide the prayer partners with information and prayer requests from the teacher. Become a part of our Sunday school ministry in a new way.
