It is hard to believe that at the publication of this Centre News, the purpose, plans and work that God has called us to as a committee and individually will be established. Once again, since April, we have been drawing together God's plan for this year’s outreach through the Living Nativity. Through prayer and the giving of your gifts and talents we are able to once again bring God's vision to fruition.

             Station site heads have been working hard to be creative and yet Biblically sound in bringing the message of the Savior's birth. Many of you have shopped, cut, sewed, ironed, constructed, glued, painted, hauled, mailed and telephoned all for the purpose of glorifying God by presenting the beauty and purpose of Christ's birth.

             One of our original goals was to reach the unsaved and those who have no knowledge of the real meaning of Christmas. Therefore we have one more very important step. Enclosed in this month's Centre News, you will find a flyer. By cutting this insert into thirds, you can reach out, by personal invitation, to friends who do not attend church, are not saved or have simply fallen away. In our tally of methods for reaching out three years ago we found that 266 people out of 711 came from a personal invitation.  117 people came from posters, tri folds and flyers you put up in your office or place of business. Does that speak to you as it did to us?

             Please continue to be diligent in prayer as there is much yet to be done. Check the bulletin boards in Taylor Hall for ways you can still contribute. If you have any other desire to serve leave a message at the church office. We can always use another shepherd or make that Inn just a little more crowded.

             As a committee we want to thank you for your faithfulness and support. We are excited about how God will work.

             Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.                  Ephesians 3:20
